The collaboration grew out of a creative dialogue between Max Richter, his partner Yulia Mahr e Comme des Garçons Parfums. The result is a calm and bewitching narrative composed in Richter's unmistakable voice.

The heart of the fragrance consists of materials closely related to Richter's life and work: graphite, vetiver, cedarwood from the soundboard of a piano, rosin from a violin bow, transistors and magnetic tape.

Among the most influential composers of his generation, Richter is known for his ability to seamlessly blend classical orchestration with modern electronic sounds. The fragrance invites a confrontation with scent as a medium of memory.
